Collective Agreements

A Collective Agreement (CA) is a legally binding written contract between the employer and a group of workers (known as a Bargaining Unit), which outlines the terms and conditions of employment.

These agreements don't come from the employer's generosity; they are the result of a process called Collective Bargaining, where the employer and union, on behalf of its members, negotiate the terms and conditions of employment.

Your collective agreement is your guarantee of fair and equitable treatment at work. If you have any concerns about your treatment or believe a policy may have been violated, please contact your steward or union representative immediately.

How We Work Together

Bylaws are the foundation of how we operate as a union. They outline our structure, how decisions are made, how leaders are elected, and how we protect fairness, transparency, and democracy within our local.

These rules are created by members, for members, and they help ensure that everyone has a voice and a role in shaping the direction of our union.
